Have you recently lost health coverage as a result of losing your job? Join us on Tuesday, October 13^th to learn more about how HealthSource RI can connect you to high-quality, low-cost or no-cost health coverage from top insurers.

If you have experience this, or any of the other Qualifying Life Events (listed below), you may be eligible to receive health coverage through HealthSource RI. HealthSource RI offers a Special Enrollment period (SEP) during which Rhode Islanders can enroll in health coverage within 60 days of this event. Qualifying life events include:

• Losing employer-sponsored coverage (due to job loss, furlough, layoff, etc.)
• Getting married or divorced
• Having a child or adopting a child
• Moving to Rhode Island
• Turning 26 and transitioning off your parent’s insurance

HealthSource RI is the only place where Rhode Islanders can receive financial assistance to help pay for coverage. In fact, 8 out of 10 customers receive financial assistance and coverage through HSRI may be more affordable than COBRA.
