HealthSource RI Enrollment still available for 2025

Open Enrollment for 2025 has closed, but if you were unable to enroll due to the cybersecurity event impacting RIBridges, the state’s benefits and health coverage system, managed by Deloitte, you still have options.

The web-based HealthyRhode customer portal is once again available to new and existing customers. Note that if you had an existing customer account, the first time you log in, you’ll be prompted to reset your password as a safety measure. If you are a new customer, you can now create an account to browse options, apply, and manage your health coverage.

While your account is available on the portal, the HealthyRhode Mobile App is not ready to be relaunched at this time. Stay tuned for updates here as that becomes available. We appreciate your patience.

New and returning customers can also still access assistance in selecting and applying for coverage by phone or in person. For more on your coverage options, calculator tools, and ways to get support, visit our Special Enrollment page.

You may be impacted differently and looking for information based on what steps you had already taken toward getting covered for the year ahead when our system became unavailable or in the time since. Please find the option that best describes your situation, and follow the guidance provided below.

  • I am enrolled in 2025 coverage, and I made my payment.
Your 2025 coverage is in place, and should continue to be so if you continue making monthly payments. Please make payments for upcoming month by the 23rd of each month. Learn more about various ways to make a payment.
  • I was affected by the Cyber Incident and still need to apply for coverage, select a plan for 2025, and/or make a payment.
Don’t worry – you can still enroll now in 2025 coverage. Update your account, create a new customer account, or make a payment in our HealthyRhode customer portal, or call us at 1-855-840-4774. If you were affected by the Cyber Incident, you can choose when you would like your coverage to start. To select backdated coverage, please indicate that you were unable to apply for 2025 coverage due to the RIBridges Cyber Incident when asked about any recent qualifying events.
  • I enrolled directly through Blue Cross & Blue Shield of Rhode Island or Neighborhood Health Plan of Rhode Island in no-cost coverage for January and February. What do I need to do next?
Your short-term, no-cost coverage program ended February 28. For affordable coverage options for the rest of the year, HealthSource RI is now able to enroll you. When you enroll, we’ll check if you are eligible for federal Advance Premium Tax Credits (APTCs) to help lower your monthly costs, and even if you qualify for no-cost Medicaid coverage. To ensure that you’ve got the right coverage in place for the rest of the year, pick and pay for your HSRI plan as soon as you can. When applying after March 1, please indicate that you experienced a “Loss of Coverage on 2/28” when asked about any recent qualifying events – this will allow you to enroll with a March 1 start date if you choose. As Rhode Island’s health insurance exchange, HSRI is the only place in the state where you can access APTCs, and we offer an array of health and dental plans to meet your needs and your budget. Visit our Special Enrollment page to learn more about our plans, access calculator tools to get an estimate of premiums and tax credits, find ways to get support, and apply online or by phone.
