Additional call center availability continues to support special enrollment opportunities

PROVIDENCE, RI – HealthSource RI, the state’s marketplace for affordable health coverage, continues to help keep Rhode Islanders connected to coverage for 2025 while the RIBridges system, managed by Deloitte, is temporarily unavailable for eligibility and enrollment.

HSRI’s call center has once again expanded its upcoming hours, through the first several days of the new year, to accommodate those who may need to enroll in a plan for January 1, make a payment, or otherwise inquire about the status of their account.

The call center, at 1-855-840-4774, is open:

  • Tuesday, December 31 – 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
  • Thursday, January 2 – 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
  • Friday, January 3 – 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
  • Saturday, January 4 – 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
  • Sunday, January 5 – 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Usual Open Enrollment hours will resume on Monday, January 7 with 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday; Tuesdays 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Saturdays 9 a.m. to noon, but may be expanded again as customer needs warrant.

While HealthSource RI awaits system restoration, its focus remains on keeping customers covered.

HealthSource RI is the state’s health insurance marketplace. Since 2013, HealthSource RI has decreased the uninsured rate by more than two thirds. Today, nearly 98 percent of Rhode Islanders have health coverage, the sixth highest insured rate in the country. HealthSource RI is the only place Rhode Islanders can receive financial help to pay for their health coverage. Currently, 6 out of 7 HealthSource RI customers receive financial assistance.
