This will help increase awareness of our offerings and how coverage through HealthSource RI is now more affordable than ever due to changes at the federal level. Open Enrollment Period (Nov 1 – Jan 31)
This is the time of year when people can sign up for new health or dental coverage, renew their existing plan, or change to a different plan. The materials listed under Open Enrollment Period are for distribution during this time of year. Outside of Open Enrollment, you can use our communications materials for Special Enrollment Period.
Special Enrollment Period (Year-Round)
Outside of HealthSource RI’s Open Enrollment Period, individuals can sign up for health coverage through our Special Enrollment Period if they experience a qualifying life event. This includes life changes like getting married, moving to RI, losing coverage through an employer, and more. We encourage you to share our Special Enrollment Period communications materials with individuals who may be experiencing significant life changes and are looking for health coverage outside of Open Enrollment.
Additional Materials
These materials can be used throughout the year interchangeably, and currently include a brochure where our Navigators are located throughout Rhode Island, alongside some helpful graphics about cost savings.
HealthSource RI in the Community
HealthSource RI is looking to partner with community organizations to share information with Rhode Islanders about obtaining health coverage. If your organization or agency is open to the public and you would like printed materials to share with your community members, we can connect with you to provide additional materials. Our team is also open to presenting at your organization or tabling at an event to educate people about all the ways they can obtain health coverage and get connected to resources in the community. HealthSource RI for Employers
HealthSource RI for Employers is the state’s small-business health insurance marketplace. We service businesses and nonprofits with 2 to 50 employees. Our team works closely with employers and brokers to provide customized solutions and optimal benefit offerings with plans that match employees’ needs and budgets.
